Where are leads cultivated?

N2O currently partners with the following comparison shopping sites:

  • BuyerZone, USAlarmCompanies, Top Alarm Companies, NitroQuotes for Security, TopSecurityQuotes, Resource Nation and Security Quotes

It is no problem if your company is currently receiving leads from any of the above companies.   Upon enrollment, our clients can select which providers they wish to receive leads from.

 

How are the leads generated?

We are always on the lookout for solid lead providers.  But we are very selective of our partners - our goal is quality, qualified leads over sheer quantity. As a national account, N2O has cultivated these partner relationships and leveraged our collective buying power to get more leads and faster delivery times for our clients.

We work with partners whose leads are closely linked to a “life event,” such as a break in, move, relocation, remodel or new construction. Most of our lead generation partners leverage organic rankings and online search to drive volume. This program does not allow leads generated from press one campaigns, co-registration or generic telemarketing campaigns.

 

What types of leads do you offer?

We offer 2 kinds of leads:

  • Residential - Residential leads are from homeowners only and renters are not included.
  • Commercial - Commercial leads are bundled together with alarm systems, card access systems and video surveillance. If a provider cannot offer all 3 commercial services, we recommend not purchasing these leads.

We estimate that for every 1 commercial lead, we get 7 home alarm leads.

 

What are the differences between the lead types?

N2O offers 3 types of leads:

Basic leads ($20 per lead)

  • Shared with 4 companies in geographical area
  • All leads are electronically verified
  • Represents 50% of total volume

Premium leads ($28 per lead)

  • Shared with 3 companies
  • Leads have a particular niche aspect
  • Electronic or call center verified
  • Represents 40% of total volume

NitroQuotes for Security leads ($25 per lead)

  • Represent 10% of the total volume

 

How are leads shared?

The entire premise of the program is that each Basic lead goes to 4 companies and each Premium or Verified lead goes to 3 companies. We occupy just one of those slots. Since N2O allows a maximum of two providers per county and each lead can only go to one company on our end, the providers take turns via "round robin" lead distribution. Once a county has two dealers, it is considered closed.

This program is not currently designed to provide exclusive leads; however, N2O does offer other lead generation programs. Contact our sales team to discuss other options at sales@n2omarketing.com.

 

How quickly will I start receiving leads?

N2O will notify each of its lead generation partners upon activation of the account. Clients can expect to begin receiving leads within 2 to 7 business days, depending on each partner’s respective processing times.

 

How are leads disseminated?

We work with our clients to devise the most efficient and convenient distribution method for their sales team. The primary distribution method for leads is via email. N2O offers the ability to send leads to 4 representatives per account.

Clients utilizing AT&T or Sprint as a carrier can choose to receive SMS or text messages with summary information, as well.

We also have the capability to post to an internal system if that is required.

How many leads should I expect?

All leads are sorted by county, with the average county receiving approximately 30 leads per month. By expanding your coverage area, the volume will naturally be greater.

 

What close rate should I expect?

Our average client closes between 10 – 15% of the verified leads provided. Results will vary based on timeliness of initial contact and strategic product offers. Most clients track their total lead costs to be approximately $150 -$200 per deal.

 

What do I have to do to ensure success?

  1. Initial contact of leads MUST be made in minutes not hours. Experience has shown that clients that funnel leads to a sales department, prolonging initial contact until the next day do not have success capitalizing on these leads. Competitors for these leads are typically national companies with call centers designed to make contact as soon as a lead arrives and to close the deal over the phone. These companies rarely send out a sales person to the premises. Our most successful clients assign these leads to a single individual responsible for making contact immediately in advance of the competition.
  2. Leveraging your local presence can often give your company a competitive edge, especially against national competitors.
  3. Measure the program in its entirety. Based on client experience, your company should expect a 10 – 15% close rate, which is impressive for any lead program.

 

How are territories devised?

N2O requires each client to pick a minimum of one county. All leads are routed to clients assigned to a specific county. We do not offer partial counties, specific zip codes or area codes.

 

What if someone else already has a county that I want?

Once a county has two dealers, it is considered closed. Clients can choose to be waitlisted, in the event that a dealer leaves the program; they would then be given the option to add that territory. We recommend adding an open adjacent county to get started and then picking up the optimal county when available.

 

Can I set a limit on my monthly spend?

We are not able to put a cap or limit on the monthly spend of a dealer.  However, we regulate the average lead volume by the addition and deletion of counties. The average county generates 30 leads per month. By adding adjacent counties, a dealer will experience greater volume. Deleting a county will reduce the volume.

 

Can I make changes or even terminate my account if it is not working?

There is no annual agreement. If you are not satisfied, you can make changes at any time. We do require 2 weeks notice to add, delete or terminate your account. During that time, you are liable for any leads that come in.   The process is easy.  Simply log in to the Client Portal, click on the "My Requests" tab, select "New Request" and record your changes on the form.  When finished click "Save & Submit for Approval".

 

What are my customer service options?

N2O offers a self-service Client Portal with every account. Utilizing the portal, clients can easily apply for lead credits, review leads received, update payment and billing information, run reports, submit account changes, etc. We will also be developing additional tools and functions in the coming months.

 

Can I turn a bad lead in for credit?

Yes. In fact, we encourage it. However the term “bad” can be subjective. Each lead providers credit policy varies and clients have 7 days from the receipt of the lead to turn it in for credit. After that time, the lead is considered valid. Our portal clearly keeps you updated as to the credit status along the way.

 

How will I be billed?

The program runs from a credit card, similar to a Toll Tag or Google. For most clients, we start with an initial $250 declining balance. As each lead comes in, the balance decreases. If a lead is disputed, deemed “bad” and you receive credit, then the balance increases.

When the total account balance reaches $80, a courtesy email alerts you.  When the balance reaches $40, the system automatically charges the credit card on file for another $250. It also sends out a receipt via email for your notification. Full reporting is available in our Client Portal.
